Spider!
This morning I found a spider in my bed that was crawling on my face at like 4:30. After that I couldn’t fall asleep again for a while. Then it turns out that all of us had a hard time falling asleep so we were all so tired that we slept in until 11:00 am.
Lunch
So after all of that, we decided to just go eat brunch at Park Lokantasi’na. I got Izmir Kofte which is basically meatballs and big french fries.
Mosque
After lunch, we went to the most famous mosque which was called the Hagia Sophia and then we went to the blue mosque. I think it was very interesting that we had to take our shoes off. We also got to wear something to cover our heads. I liked the blue mosque better because there was not really a line to get in and it was so much prettier.
Palace
After the mosques, we went to the Topkapi Palace. We saw lots of pretty jewels including a giant diamond. After that, we went to this balcony and there was a really pretty view.
Cafe
After the palace, we went to a cute little cafe and I got lemonade, a croissant, and a chocolate strawberry donut which was sooo yummy.
Dinner
Then we went to dinner at Balkan Lokantasi which was a place where you could look at all of the options and pick out which ones you liked. I had just had a snack so I only got some pasta.
