We drove a long way to a large lake and took a bus to the ferry dock and took a very fast boat across the lake from Gjendesheim to Memurubu. We stayed on the top deck where it was very windy and cold because we were going so fast but I wanted to go down to the lower deck where it was inside and heated. Then we landed on the other side and we found out that it would be 45 minutes until we could get back on another boat so we went on a small hike near some small waterfalls and a river with tons of small cabins and tents from people camping. Mom and I went on a pier and took some photos while Dad and Sadie walked back to the dock and I looked for fish in the water. They let us on the boat and we went on the lower deck where it was warm and we took the boat back to the other side and took a long hike on the real hiking trail up above the treeline. And then stayed there and looked out over the lake for a while and then we hiked back down. Then we sat there for a little bit and I watched a dude who worked for the boating company fish off of one of the boats, but he didn’t catch anything. He got a bite, but the fish got off of the hook.
