Today we went to explore Hanoi but most things were closed because it was Labor Day. First we walked through a small park. As we were walking there was a lot of honking from the cars and the mopeds. Then we walked past the president’s house and a bunch of embassies. We also walked past the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum. Eventually we got to a big lake with a pagoda that was closed. In a smaller lake across the road there were swan boats which made it very pretty. Then we walked to lunch which was really good. I got chicken spring rolls and a crepe with a sunrise mocktail. As we were walking home we stopped to get ice cream but because I had ice cream at lunch I just got a lemonade. Then we went home and hung out until dinner time. For dinner I got fried rice. On the walk back home we saw another big lake and a bunch of street performers. Then we went home for the night.
