Happy Mother’s Day!
Today we slept in until the loud church bell at Saint Joseph’s Cathedral across the street woke us up. Then we ate breakfast at a different hotel because the chef is on his day off and then got a Grab to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. First we walked through the outdoor portion of the museum which was filled with huts of the indigenous tribes in Vietnam. Some of the houses were made entirely out of natural materials woven together. Others had very steep ladder-like staircases leading up to the entrance. After walking through the outdoor part of the museum we got drinks and went to the indoor part. It was filled with art from different countries in Asia. Much of what was in the museum was clothing and musical instruments. Afterwards we got a Grab to a restaurant for lunch and walked home. We did homeschooling until it was dinner time and then ordered delivery because it was thunderstorming. Once we were done we got ready for bed and fell asleep.
