Today we slept in and went to the Independence Palace. The building was in a park filled with military tanks and aircraft. The inside of the building was not air conditioned but it also didn’t have much on the 3rd or 4th floor. There were many conference rooms and bedrooms and also a huge kitchen in the building but overall it looked a lot larger on the outside than on the inside. Then we went to lunch and walked home. Once we got to the hotel we wrote our blogs and got some water at a grocery store. Afterwards we went to dinner and swam for a little bit in the pool on the roof of the apartment we are living in.
