Today we went to the beach while dad worked in the morning. We walked down the streets to the park that we went to yesterday afternoon and then down to the beach. We didn’t play in the park this time so we just went straight down to the water. Then we played in the water for a while and then went and dried off and then we went back in and I climbed on a tall wood stump coming out of the ground with tons of algae and barnacles which made it hard to pull up myself on top of the stump. It was also sticking out of the water so I couldn’t just swim on top of it. Then we played in the wavy shallows and then dried off and then got back in and then dried off and then got back in and then dried off for the last time.
Then we walked back and then chilled. After that we went to Diocletian’s Palace which was like the old town of Split. There was a concert going on so the main square was blocked off but we still got to see most of the old buildings. I found it funny that we could see apartments and hotels built into the walls. There were also shops and restaurants. One of the shops was a rubber duck shop with like 600 different types of rubber ducks. Then we left and walked all the way back up the hill.
