Today we woke up early and started packing for our trip back to Hanoi. Because there are supposed to be thunderstorms on Cat Ba Island for the next few days we decided to go back to Hanoi early. We are staying at a hotel for 3 days before returning to our original Airbnb. First we got a bus to the marina where we took a short ferry off the island. Then we rode a different bus for a long time to the hotel. Once we got to the hotel we went to lunch. Afterwards we walked back home and planned activities for the next few days. The view from our hotel is right in front of the cathedral.
